Hand Tooled Leather Knife Sheath with Painted Hellboy Fan Art Design for Pocket Knife

A very unique hand tooled leather pocket knife sheath that I've made form thick veg tanned leather. It's designed to hold a single bladed folding pocket knife with an average closed length between 4 and 5 inches. The pocket knife that I used in the photos is 4 inches long by 1 inch wide and is about an 1/2 inch thick.

This sheath will easily slide onto an 1.5" wide belt and sits perfectly on your waist. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding your knife fitting this sheath. I will be more than happy to help!

It's designed to be worn on the right side because of the angled slots and will lean slightly forward. I can make you a custom sheath if you need it to be worn on the left side. Just contact me for more info.

Now on to the good stuff! The Hellboy fan art design has been hand tooled, hand painted, and hand dyed a saddle tan color around the design. I really enjoyed painting this design and I'm a big fan!

I decided to leave the back natural without any dye or tooling and it really compliments the artwork. I used a leather sewing machine with nylon thread to sew it together after a clear finish was applied to both the front and back pieces to protect the leather. The edges have been smoothed over and waxed which makes for a nice shiny finish.

This pocket knife sheath measures about 5" high by 3.75" wide and is a little over 3/8" thick laying flat. This is a high quality leather knife sheath that will last for a very long time!
