A superb hand tooled leather bifold wallet featuring a Celtic Bird design. The black interior has 4 credit card pockets and a long pocket for your currency including a "secret' flap of leather to hide larger bills if needed.
This bifold wallet measures 4.5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide when closed and is about 1/2 of an inch thick empty. It fits nicely in the back pocket of my Levi's jeans.
I made this wallet from a piece of Hermann Oak veg tanned leather and black interior leather for the inside. I hand tooled and painted the Celtic Bird design which I drew before the start of this project.
I did apply an antique finish to tone down the colors and to even out the different brown colors throughout this design. I also applied a clear finish to help protect the leather.
All stitching was saddle stitched (hand sewn) using bees wax coated natural colored linen thread. The edges have beed burnished, dyed, and waxed to make them smooth.
**Please note: the colors look brighter in the photos than the actual wallet does in person.**
