Tooled Leather Knife Sheath with Skull Design for Trapper Style Folding Pocket Knife
An exceptional hand-tooled leather knife sheath displays a skull design that will truly impress your friends!
I used premium 8/9oz. Veg-tanned leather and this leather knife sheath will hold a small trapper style two-bladed folding pocket knife. The slots will fit a standard 1.5" wide belt.
This sheath design is for the right side due to the angled slots leaning slightly forward. However, I can make you a custom scabbard if you need it for your left side. Please get in touch with me for more info.
I oiled the leather after tooling to loosen the fibers, which will add durability to this sheath. I then applied an antique finish to highlight the details with a top coat of clear acrylic.
I machine sewed the pieces together using natural colored bonded nylon thread. The edges have been smoothed and waxed.
This scabbard is around 4" high by 3" wide and over 1/4" thick.
